Between the Darkroom Doors

"I don't think we're supposed to go in there," he said, trying to conceal the smile on his face, "...but I really want to."
Fanboy grabbed Coco's hand and pulled her into the revolving darkroom doors that the journal and photography kids used to enter or exit the darkroom. As soon as the door was closed, the low red lights above them automatically came on and gave off a calm, romantic feeling; they could see each other after a few seconds to allow their eyes to adjust in the small enclosure.

"Red's a good color on you, Fanboy," Coco remarked. He told her, "Being in here makes me want hot cocoa..." She knew that was his way on hinting for more affectionate gestures, so she took two steps further into the center - where he already was - and interlocked their fingers in both hands.

"And I'm your biggest fan, Mr. Superhero..."
Fanboy closed his eyes, holding their hands closer to their faces, and gently pressed his lips against the journal-girl's. She leaned a little further into him and tilted her head to the left; her cheeks turned darker red in the soft lighting. Likewise, the masked boy became the same color as he blushed.

Not even two seconds passed after they parted when he kissed her again - Coco did the same, gladly sharing the moment with him. They continued with a pattern of pecking each other for a minute or two.

I'm proud to call her my girlfriend - there couldn't be a more amazing girl to choose from!
Coco was thinking the very same thoughts about him too...
